Andressa Urach

Andressa Urach, then fifteen years old, was meeting Tiago Costa. They moved in together after three months. Arthur Urach Costa is the only child born to this couple. The birth took place on May 19, 2004. Andressa later moved into the home of her mother and her child. Within six months, Urach lost her employment and left her son in the care of his father. Her main goal was to find a more prosperous life within Sao Paulo. Andressa Urach describes in her book Morri Para Viver how she experienced sexual abuse as a child. She suffered from the age two to eight of abuse by her adoptive grandfather. Andressa was able to conquer all issues because her foster grandmother was able to witness the abuse and allowed her to stay in her home. The mother of the child was not conscious of the abuse she suffered until Andressa published her book. Andressa said that prior to when she underwent a spiritual transformation It was hard for her to forgive her the abuser. In one of my hardest decision, I called the person who had abused me sexually. This wasn't easy to do. After much prayer vows and fasting, I proclaimed over the phone that I forgive the man and, while I didn't feel guiltless, I asked for forgiveness.
