Antonina Shevchenko

Antonina (or Antonia) Shevchenko is Antonina Shevchenko is a Kyrgyzstani Muay Thailand fighter in the flyweight division. Valentina Shevchenko, who is a former UFC Flyweight title holder as well as UFC other fighter, is her younger sister. Antonina Shevchenko started her professional career as an Muay Thai kickboxer. Her debut was in 2003, at the IFMA World Championship Tournament. Shevchenko was the winner of the tournament and defeated Suzane Milliner by unanimous decision. Antonina then won an award of Silver in 2007, a Bronze Medal in 2008, and a Golden medal in 2011, in the IFMA Amateure Muay Thai World Champion. Antonia has started her professional career in 2003, was crowned in 2012 and 2016, the Lion Fight Lightweight Championships. It was also the WMC World Championships were held in 2016, and she was crowned the 2016 IFMA Muay Thailand World Champion. Antonina's most recent fight took place against Isa Tidblad-Keskikangas in the Phoenix Fighting Championship. The victory was achieved by an unanimous decision. Antonina shevchenko won her first professional MMA fight in 2002 against Anara bayanova, who was fighting at the KFK Cup of Kyrgystan. She took the win via a second round TKO, and then won 2 more fights at WXF X-Impact World Championships to achieve a record of 3-0. Shevchenko was forced to take a break from MMA and concentrated on her kickboxing. Shevchenko made her comeback in 2017 when she fought Anissa Diddaoui. Shevchenko defeated Anissa by unanimous decision, and then she defeated Valerie Domergue in Phoenix FC 4. She quit the promotion and started Dana White's Contender Series 2018. Shevchenko was matched against Jaimelene Nievera in Dana White's Tuesday Night Contender Series 11, Antonina used superior striking to TKO Nievera by knees to her body in the final clinch. After this win, Antonina received a UFC deal. Antonina made her UFC debut at the TUF Heavy Hhitters Finale with Ji Yeon Kim. Shevchenko lost to Roxanne modafferi by split decision, after winning her first bout. Antonina rebounded from the defeat by prevailing Lucie Prudilova at UFC on ESPN Covingtonvs. Lawler with a rear naked choke submission. This was by far the most exciting fight of night for the fight. Shevchenko went 2-2 in the next three fights. She defeated Ariane Lipski and lost to Katlyn Chokagian as well as Andrea Lee. Antonina has been defeated recently by Casey O'Neill via TKO at UFC Fight Night Santos-Walker.
