Lauren Ash-Morgan, actor and a member of the SSC's board since 2011, is the Co-Artistic Director Founding of the recently formed theater company Speech of Fire. She has been the artistic director for Seoul Shakespeare Company from 2014 through the year 2019. She also served in the SSC as producer as well as a costume/set design composer/music director, and text-coach while serving as Artistic Direction. Although she usually led from within the group of actors, in her final year she made her debut as an actor (and the lighting design) with SSC's King Lear.
